Technical description: No burner ignition – possibly no gas, detection or ignition electrode fault, defective gas valve, incorrect inlet gas pressure
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler is unable to create a flame after several attempts, preventing it from heating your water. The most common reasons include a lack of gas reaching the unit, a dirty or damaged ignition probe that can't create a spark, or a component failure that stops the gas from flowing correctly.
This fault can occasionally occur during extreme cold snaps if the external gas regulator or pipework freezes, restricting the flow of gas to the property.
