Technical description: Flue gas fault – could be because F07 happened 3 times in the last 24 hours – check the flue
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's safety sensors detect that waste gases are not being evacuated safely through the flue pipe. It is often triggered by a physical blockage in the pipe, a failing fan that cannot push the air out, or an issue with the pressure switch that monitors this airflow. To protect your home from carbon monoxide, the system shuts down completely after detecting this problem multiple times.
This fault can be more frequent during periods of high winds, which can create back-pressure in the flue and interfere with the sensors.
