What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board experiences an internal hardware failure, essentially causing the unit's 'brain' to malfunction. The most common reason is life-expired electronic components or a voltage surge that has damaged the delicate circuitry on the printed circuit board. In some cases, loose or damaged wiring between the internal components can also trigger this computer error.
