Your boiler is continuing to run the internal hot water pump for longer than expected after you have turned off the tap.
This fault should be looked at by a Gas Safe engineer within the next week or two. It may get worse if left.
Technical description: Domestic hot water pump overrun.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal sensors detect that the pump is still running for a hot water demand even after you have closed the tap. It is usually caused by a sticking flow switch that wrongly tells the boiler water is still moving, or a diverter valve that is failing to return to its resting position. In some cases, a fault within the internal pump itself or the control board can prevent the system from entering its normal standby mode.
