Your boiler is temporarily paused because it is double-checking the water pressure levels before it continues to run.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Waiting period – pressure sensor
What causes this fault?
This code appears when the boiler's internal computer is waiting for a consistent reading from the water pressure sensor before it allows the burner to light. It usually occurs because the sensor is struggling to detect the correct pressure quickly enough, often due to a slight blockage or a part that is beginning to fail. Rather than shutting down completely, the boiler pauses to ensure there is enough water inside to operate safely.
DIY fix possible
Check the pressure gauge on the front of the boilerIf the pressure is below 1.0 bar, use the filling loop to top it up to 1.5 barMonitor the boiler to see if it clears the code and fires up automatically
