What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the main electronic brain of the boiler suffers a hardware failure or a breakdown in its internal circuitry. The most common reason is general wear and tear of the electrical components over several years, which eventually prevents the board from sending signals to start the ignition process.

This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
