Technical description: The boiler fails to light after 10 seconds
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler attempts to start but cannot establish a stable flame to begin heating your water. It is usually caused by a lack of gas reaching the burner, a worn-out component failing to create a spark, or the internal sensors not detecting the flame once it has lit.
This issue is frequently seen during the first cold snap of autumn when internal components seized over the summer are finally put under pressure to perform.
