What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer chips or electrical circuits suffer a hardware failure, meaning the brain of the appliance can no longer process data or send signals. The most common reason is general age-related wear on the circuit board's components, or occasionally an electrical surge that has damaged the delicate tracks. Because the board can no longer guarantee the boiler is operating safely, it automatically shuts the system down.
