What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler’s central control board suffers an internal electronic failure or loses the ability to talk to other sensors. It is usually caused by aged electrical components burning out or moisture getting into the casing and short-circuiting the delicate circuitry.

This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
