F06 Low Warning

Your boiler's outdoor temperature monitor is not sending a signal, which may cause your heating to behave unpredictably based on the weather.

Monitor it

This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.

Technical description: Outside Sensor Fault

What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler loses communication with the small sensor located on the exterior wall of your home. It is usually caused by water ingress damaging the sensor's internal circuitry or a loose connection in the wiring that links the sensor to the boiler's main control board.

This fault is more common during autumn and winter, as heavy rain or freezing conditions can accelerate the degradation of the outdoor sensor's casing.

Typical repair cost £100-180 (including labour)
