Your boiler is failing to keep its flame lit, which means it cannot heat your home or water.
Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.
Technical description: Flame Loss
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler successfully lights a flame but then loses the signal needed to keep it running. The most common reason is that the internal sensors are dirty or worn out and can no longer 'see' the flame, or the gas valve is failing to maintain a steady flow of fuel.
This fault can be more frequent during hardware-straining cold snaps, particularly if a partially blocked condensate pipe causes the combustion chamber to flood and extinguish the flame.
