Your boiler has been switched into a special technician mode used for tuning the gas settings and will not operate normally until this is deactivated.
This fault should be looked at by a Gas Safe engineer within the next week or two. It may get worse if left.
Technical description: Ignition gas pressure adjustment / Minimum gas pressure adjustment
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler is manually or accidentally switched into a specific 'service mode' used by engineers to calibrate the burner. While in this state, the boiler ignores the thermostat and hot water requests to run at a fixed output for testing purposes. The most common reason is a control switch being left in the wrong position or a technical error during a recent maintenance visit.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
