Technical description: Lack of burner ignition (no ignition signal from the full sequence ignition device)
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control system attempts to start a flame but cannot detect that one has successfully lit. This is usually caused by a worn-out ignition spark, a blockage in the gas supply, or a fault in the internal computer board that manages the startup sequence.
This issue can be more frequent during the first cold snap of winter when internal components are put under sudden stress after being idle during the summer.
