What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board suffers a memory glitch or software failure, causing it to 'forget' how it should operate. This is often triggered by sudden electrical fluctuations, such as a power surge or a failing internal wire harness that disrupts the data flow to the computer chip.
