Your boiler has stopped working because the fan that safely removes exhaust gases isn't running at the correct speed.
Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.
Technical description: Fan Fault
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer detects that the fan is not spinning at the required speed to safely clear waste gases from the system. The most common reason is an electrical or mechanical failure within the fan motor itself, though sometimes a communication error between the main control board and the fan can trigger the shutdown.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
