Your boiler's maximum temperature has been restricted in its internal settings, preventing it from reaching the heat level requested by your thermostat.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Ensure Flow Temp is not limited within Installer Mode.
What causes this fault?
This issue occurs because the boiler's internal software has been programmed to cap the water temperature at a lower level than what you are asking for. This is usually a configuration choice made during installation to improve energy efficiency or protect underfloor heating systems. The boiler is not broken, it is simply following a safety or economy rule that is overriding your thermostat's request.
You are most likely to notice this in peak winter, as the restricted temperature may prevent the radiators from getting hot enough to warm the house during extreme cold spells.
