Your boiler has recently had its main circuit board replaced and simply needs to be rebooted to confirm the change.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Restart boiler by pressing RESTART.
What causes this fault?
This notification appears after a new Printed Circuit Board (PCB) has been installed to ensure the boiler’s software correctly recognises the hardware change. It is a safety and configuration step triggered because the boiler needs a manual confirmation to synchronise the new components with the system's memory. Once you press the restart button, the boiler will verify the installation and resume normal operation.
