Your boiler is not broken; it is simply working at its maximum set power level to heat your home quickly.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Burner operating at maximum CH power setting (See parameter 3)
What causes this fault?
This code appears when the boiler is firing at its highest possible heat setting to quickly reach the temperature you have set on your thermostat. It is a normal part of the boiler's operation and usually happens when you first turn the heating on during a cold morning. Once the radiators are up to temperature, the boiler will automatically reduce its power and the code will disappear.
You are most likely to see this code during the autumn and winter months when the heating system is working hardest to warm up a cold house.
DIY fix possible
No action is required as this is an operational status code rather than a fault.Wait for the house to reach the desired temperature, and the code will change once the boiler modulates down.If the code never disappears, check that your room thermostat is not set unnecessarily high.
