What causes this fault?

The boiler temporarily turns off the burner to prevent the system from overheating, ensuring it operates efficiently rather than wasting energy. Once the water inside the unit cools down by a few degrees, it will automatically fire back up to maintain your home's warmth.
This code is more frequent during autumn and spring when the weather is milder and the heating system doesn't need to work at full capacity to keep the house warm.
