What causes this fault?
Status code 1 occurs when the water inside the boiler has reached the specific temperature set on your thermostat or the boiler dial. To prevent wasting energy or overheating the system, the burner temporarily switches off until the water temperature drops enough for it to start heating again. This is a standard safety and efficiency feature rather than a mechanical failure.
