Your boiler's internal computer has encountered a communication error while reading its own electronic sensors.
Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.
Technical description: ADC error
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board fails to accurately translate the electrical signals coming from its internal sensors into digital data. It is often caused by a hardware malfunction within the circuitry of the Printed Circuit Board or a loose connection that prevents the internal computer from 'talking' to the rest of the unit. The boiler stops as a safety precaution because it can no longer accurately monitor vital functions like temperature and pressure.
