Your boiler has lost its connection to the sensor that monitors water pressure, meaning it cannot confirm there is enough water to run safely.
Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.
Technical description: Water pressure sensor not connected
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer loses electrical communication with the component that monitors water levels. The most common reason is a loose or damaged connection in the wiring, but it can also be caused by the sensor itself failing due to age or internal wear. Because the boiler cannot verify that there is enough water to operate safely without this signal, it will shut down to prevent overheating.
