What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal sensor detects a flame signal at a moment when the gas should be completely shut off. The most common reason is a carbon-coated or damaged detection probe sending a false electrical signal, or a fault within the main circuit board that misinterprets these signals. To ensure your safety, the boiler automatically prevents itself from firing up until the sensor confirms it is clear.
