Your boiler is temporarily resting after the heating cycle to move leftover heat into your radiators, which is a normal part of its operation.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Main burner off, pump running to transfer remaining heat from boiler into the system.
What causes this fault?
This status occurs because the boiler has reached its target temperature and has turned off the burner to prevent overheating. The internal pump continues to run to safely move the residual heat away from the heat exchanger and out into your radiators. Once the water temperature inside the unit drops to a specific level, the boiler will automatically start the next heating cycle.
DIY fix possible
Wait for 5 to 10 minutes for the pump to finish its cycleCheck that your room thermostat is set to the desired temperatureEnsure radiators are bled and system pressure is correct if the code persists for long periods
