Your boiler is working correctly and has simply reached the required temperature, so it has paused its burner safely.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Boiler operating but up to temperature.
What causes this fault?
This status occurs when the water inside the boiler has reached the maximum temperature set by your thermostat. The boiler hasn't broken down; it has simply paused the burner because there is no more heat needed at this moment. Once the water temperature drops slightly as it circulates through your radiators, the boiler will automatically fire back up to maintain the heat.
This code is more frequent during autumn and spring when the weather is milder and your home reaches its target temperature very quickly.
DIY fix possible
Check that your room thermostat is set to the desired temperatureEnsure your radiator valves are open to allow heat to circulateNo action is usually required as this is normal operation
