Your boiler is currently cooling itself down after the burner has switched off, which is a normal operation to move residual heat into your radiators.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Main burner off, pump running to transfer remaining heat from boiler into the system
What causes this fault?
This status occurs because the internal heat exchanger is still very hot after the central heating or hot water has met its target. To prevent the boiler from overheating or stressing the components, the pump continues to run to move that leftover heat safely into your radiators. Once the internal temperature drops to a safe level, the boiler will return to its normal standby state.
DIY fix possible
Wait for the circulation pump to finish its cycleCheck that your thermostat is calling for heat if the boiler does not restartEnsure your radiator valves are open to allow the heat to dissipate
