What causes this fault?
This occurs when the boiler reaches its target temperature very quickly and needs to pause before firing up again. It is usually caused by the heat having nowhere to go, such as when your radiators are already hot or the room thermostat has been satisfied. By waiting a few minutes, the boiler protects its internal components from the damage caused by constantly clicking on and off.
This code is more frequent during autumn and spring when the weather is mild and the heating system doesn't need to work at full capacity.
