Your boiler has successfully turned off the burner and is simply circulating water to cool itself down correctly after a period of operation.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Main burner off, pump running to transfer remaining heat from boiler into the system.
What causes this fault?
This code appears when the boiler has reached its target temperature and has successfully turned off the burner. It indicates that the pump is still running to move remaining heat away from the internal components and out into your radiators or cylinder. This is a normal safety function to prevent the system from overheating once the heating cycle ends.
DIY fix possible
Wait for the 'P' code to disappear automatically as the cooling cycle completesEnsure your radiator valves are open to allow the heat to dissipateCheck that the system pressure is between 1.0 and 1.5 bar on the gauge
