Your boiler is failing to clear its fault memory even after being reset, which usually means the internal control board or the reset switch itself has failed.
Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.
Technical description: Go to sections ‘H’ and ‘K’: Check ignition wiring or replace main PCB/selector.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer becomes stuck in a loop and fails to register that the reset command has been given. The most common reason is that the physical selector switch has worn out or the main control board has suffered an electrical failure, preventing it from clearing the previous error memory.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
