What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler sends an electrical spark to light the gas but cannot detect a flame within a few seconds. The most common reasons are that the gas supply is interrupted, the spark electrode has become worn out, or the gas valve isn't opening correctly to let fuel into the burner.
DIY fix possible
Check that your gas stop tap is fully openIf you have a prepay meter, check that you have creditPress and hold the reset button for at least 5 seconds
