Your boiler has detected a fault with the hot water temperature sensor, meaning it cannot accurately tell how hot the water is.
This fault should be looked at by a Gas Safe engineer within the next week or two. It may get worse if left.
Technical description: Short circuit DHW sensor: check wiring and sensor.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control board loses communication with the sensor responsible for monitoring your hot water temperature. The most common reason is that the sensor's internal electrical circuit has failed or the connecting wires have become damaged or loose. Because the boiler can no longer safely tell how hot the water is, it stops heating to prevent overheating.
