Your boiler is working correctly and is simply waiting for a prompt from your thermostat or hot water tap to start up.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Boiler in standby mode
What causes this fault?
This code appears when the boiler has successfully completed its start-up checks and is sitting in a ready state. It indicates that the system is functioning perfectly but is currently idle because the room thermostat is turned down or nobody is using the hot water. As soon as you turn up the heating or open a hot tap, the boiler will spring into action.
DIY fix possible
Check that your room thermostat is turned up higher than the current room temperatureEnsure your heating programmer or timer is set to an 'on' periodCheck that your pre-heat function hasn't been accidentally disabled if you are waiting for hot water
