What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer detects an electrical 'short' in the low-voltage circuit, similar to a fuse blowing in your home to prevent damage. The most common reason is that a specific component, such as the fan or gas valve, has developed an internal electrical fault and is sending the wrong signal back to the main control board.
