What causes this fault?

Essentially, the boiler’s brain has lost its instructions and has shut down as a safety precaution.
DIY fix possible
Locate the power switch or fused spur for the boiler and turn it off.Wait for approximately 60 seconds to allow the internal electronics to discharge.Turn the power back on and press the reset button on the control panel.
