What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control system loses the signal that confirms a flame is present, causing it to lose confidence in the ignition process. The most common reasons are worn-out electrodes that can no longer sense the heat properly or a minor electrical glitch within the circuit board that prevents it from processing sensor data.
DIY fix possible
Wait up to 15 minutes to see if the boiler clears the code and restarts automaticallyPerform a manual reset by turning the mode selector switch to the 'R' position for a few secondsCheck that other gas appliances in your home are working to ensure there is a gas supply
