Technical description: No power, blown fuse, Internal fault (Ensure power supply to Boiler is on, check fuse, Contact engineer)
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control system loses all electrical power, causing the entire unit to shut down. The most common reasons are a tripped circuit breaker, a blown fuse in the external wall switch, or a failure of the internal printed circuit board. Essentially, the 'brain' of the boiler has no electricity to communicate with the display or the heating components.
This issue is occasionally seen following summer thunderstorms, as power surges or lightning strikes can blow the delicate fuses or damage the circuit board.
DIY fix possible
