Your boiler is currently on a temporary 'time-out' between heating cycles to prevent the system from switching on and off too frequently.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Timer delay
What causes this fault?
This occurs when the boiler reaches its target temperature and shuts off to prevent the radiators from getting too hot. It is a protective 'anti-cycling' measure that stops the internal components from wearing out by preventing the burner from firing up again too quickly before the system has cooled down. The code will disappear automatically once the pre-set waiting period has finished.
This status is more common during the autumn and spring when the weather is milder, as your home requires less constant heat to stay warm.
DIY fix possible
Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the timer delay to elapse naturally.Check that your room thermostat is turned up high enough to call for heat.Ensure there is no accidental demand for hot water from a dripping tap.
