What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer data becomes corrupted or the various electronic boards stop talking to each other correctly. The most common reason is a power surge or a physical failure of the memory chip on the main circuit board, which prevents the boiler from knowing its own operating instructions.
DIY fix possible
Turn the boiler power switch to the 'OFF' position.Wait for approximately 30 seconds.Switch the boiler back to 'ON' and see if the E 60 code clears.
