What causes this fault?
This sequence occurs when the boiler's internal computer is running a series of diagnostic tests to ensure all components are safe before ignition. It is physically triggered by a disruption in power, such as a localized power cut, the boiler being switched off at the wall, or a recent service. Under normal conditions, this is a standard safety procedure and the boiler should begin firing normally within a few minutes.
