AC High Lockout

Your boiler's main control computer has lost contact with the front display panel, meaning the two parts can no longer 'talk' to each other to operate the system.

Call an engineer soon

Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.

Technical description: No communication between the Bosch Heatronic and the display

What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the electrical connection between the boiler's internal computer and the front control panel is interrupted. The most common cause is a loose or damaged wiring bridge, but it can also be triggered by a technical failure within the circuit boards themselves after years of heat exposure.

Typical repair cost £150-£450 (including labour)
