Technical description: Permanent fault. Fan rotor blocked, fan seized or wiring to fan damaged.
What causes the Baxi E.04 – .13 fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control board detects that the fan is not spinning at the required speed to safely clear exhaust gases. The most common reasons are a physical blockage inside the fan casing, debris seizing the internal bearings, or a loose electrical connection between the fan and the main computer.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
