The Grant Burner lock-out fault code means: your boiler's heating element has safely shut itself down as a precaution, usually due to a temporary interruption in the ignition process.. It appears on 8 Grant models in our database.
Technical description: If there is a burner malfunction, a built-in safety circuit switches the burner off and the 'Lock-out' reset button on the burner will light. Usually such malfunctions are short lived and pressing the red reset button will restore normal operation.
DIY fix possible
Ensure your oil supply valve is fully open and there is fuel in your tank.Wait at least 60 seconds for the system to reset.Locate the red reset button on the burner unit and press it firmly once.
