Your boiler is working correctly and is simply waiting for you to turn on the heating or hot water tap.
This is a minor fault. Keep an eye on it and mention it at your next annual boiler service. Reset the boiler and see if it clears.
Technical description: Standby - no demand for heat
What causes this fault?
This code appears when the boiler is in a healthy state but is currently idle because it hasn't received a signal to work. It simply means that your thermostat is turned down or your hot water taps are closed, so the internal components are resting to save energy. There is no physical fault; the boiler is just waiting for you to request heat.
This status is much more common during the summer months when the central heating is switched off for long periods.
DIY fix possible
Check that your room thermostat is turned up higher than the current room temperatureEnsure your heating programmer or timer is set to 'On'Check that your hot water tap is turned on if you require hot water
