Your boiler has stopped working because the internal fan, which safely exhausts gases, is not spinning at the correct speed.
Book a Gas Safe engineer within 24–48 hours. Your boiler may be unsafe or could break down completely if left.
Technical description: Fan Error
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control board detects that the fan is either not spinning at all or is failing to reach the speed required to safely clear exhaust gases. This is usually caused by a physical failure of the fan motor, a buildup of debris inside the casing, or an electrical communication error between the fan and the main circuit board.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
