What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the internal power management system fails to communicate correctly with the compressor. The most common reason is an electrical malfunction within the inverter board, which is responsible for controlling the speed and power of the unit's motor.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
