What causes this fault?
This status occurs when the boiler sends an electrical spark to the burner to start the heating process. It is a normal part of operation, but if the light continues to flash without the boiler firing up, it usually means the gas isn't catching or the system can't 'see' the flame. This is often caused by a worn-out ignition component or a probe that has become dirty over time.
DIY fix possible
Check that your gas supply is turned onObserve if the light stops flashing once the boiler fires upIf the light continues to flash but the boiler does not light, try resetting the power
