Technical description: PCB Fault (Replace PCB)
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer, or PCB, suffers a mechanical or electrical failure that prevents it from communicating with the rest of the unit. The most common reasons are age-related wear and tear on the circuit components or a sudden electrical surge that has damaged the delicate tracks on the board.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
