Technical description
Water pressure sensor error – could be open or short
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control system loses communication with the sensor that monitors water levels and pressure. The most common reason is a physical failure of the sensor itself or a loose connection in the internal wiring. When the boiler cannot verify that it has enough water to operate safely, it will shut down to prevent internal overheating.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
