What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer is unable to spin the fan at the correct speed or cannot detect that it is moving at all. The most common reasons are a complete mechanical failure of the fan motor, loose or damaged electrical connections between the fan and the control board, or a fault within the control board itself.
Engineer required
This fault requires a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
