Technical description
Flame loss during operation
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's control board loses the electrical signal that confirms a flame is present while the burner is suppose to be firing. The most common reason is that the internal sensors have become dirty or worn out, though it can also be caused by an unstable gas supply or a block in the flue system.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
